What you need to know about this game is that a blizzard started on turn two and didn't end until turn six.

We rolled for mission and got Free for all, since neither of us have played this mission in a while we decided to go ahead and play it. But to add a bit of spice to the old mission we decided to use blizzard rules and snow. Each turn we roll to see if a blizzard starts!
| US forces moving up. |
| German forces awaiting old blood and guts. |
| Some snow was left over from the previous storm. |
| But it looked like snow on the horizon. |
| Very cold Volksgrenadiers wondering why they aren't in the houses. |
| That slope looks treacherous. |
| I roll three planes and go for Patton, I roll two 1's to hit... |
| A few tanks burn after the first turn. Then the blizzard hits! |
| Under the cover of the snowstorm the light vehicle move up. |
| Shifting to the left flank. |
| For the next few turns shooting was abysmal. |
| Either we rolled low for how far we could see, or just missed. |
| But finally we closed to point blank, and tanks started to burn. |
| Blizzard still raging (use your imagination) |
| Pushing up on the left. |
| The Jackson's come out and bag an ostwind. |
Matthew moved up his full strength platoon into the village on the right and they knocked out a Panzer IV/70 (A). But then in my turn the storm broke and things cleared up. I moved up the rest of that panzer platoon, the hq and the Sdkfz 234/4 with a Pak40 and knocked them all out in return. With that Matthew was below half with no commander, but Patton could take the company check, a one was quickly rolled and Patton decided to withdraw the survivors, probably cursing Monty the whole time.
| The American left has collapsed. |
